In late 2005, the Entertainment Experiment entered a contest put on by SoapNet that challenged filmmakers to make a clip featuring the ever popular Soap Opera genre. Our little clip made it to the FINALS, which allowed us to produce a second clip with a "Hollywood" theme. Needless to say, with the setting of our show being a small island off the coast of Maine, our clip didn't win.

We're proud to be able to hold to our original vision and happy of what we were able to accomplish with this project. The Portland Press Herald did a story on our adventure and the experience encouraged us to press on with new ideas.
